Nicole Shim

Nicole joined Human Synergy in 2023 fresh from HELP University graduating with a Bachelor in Psychology. She has a keen interest in behavioral change and how it can be achieved through HR methodology particularly in the area of compensation and benefits

She has certainly hit the ground running, having already been involved in 2 compensation and benefits review work for a Systems Integration Company and a major F&B Retail chain, a competency model design project for an education provider, and supported several social audit (RBA, SMETA) and leadership trainings. 

Nicole has recently completed streamlining the terms and conditions of employment for a listed packaging Group to ensure compliance with the latest Employment Act changes and market practices. She has also assisted in reviewing HR policies of a listed conglomerate and salary & grading structure design for a large restaurant group and a listed ICT Co. Some of the restructuring exercise Nicole assisted includes a listed conglomerate and a Singaporean IT shared services company.  

Nicole is currently involved in an Employee Engagement survey exercise for one of the largest listed Oil & Gas company apart from providing support on its leadership development program. Her other projects include developing a robust and market driven Salary & Grading structure for a state-owned enterprise focusing on industrial park, developing incentive plan for Executive Directors of a large PLC that is focusing on construction and engineering and providing support in reviewing the bonus framework for the nation’s largest listed plantation company.
